Kingston Mayor 2027

How it works

Draft To Run answers one question — who should we draft to run? — in three steps.

1. Nominate (under 30 seconds)

Anyone verified can nominate a neighbor. There is exactly one question that matters: where have you seen this person serve this community? Coaching, volunteering, organizing, showing up — that is the whole resume here. No parties, no policy quizzes, no attacks. If a nomination slips partisan or attack language in, it is held for a human review before it can appear.

2. Endorse (one per person)

Endorsing is the vote. Verify once with a phone or email code, then endorse with one tap. One verified person gets exactly one endorsement per nominee — the rule lives in the database itself. You can endorse up to 10 different people, and you can take an endorsement back whenever you like.

3. Share (how anyone climbs)

Every nominee gets a personal page with a share card built for social. When someone endorses through your personal link, you earn advocate credit — climb the advocate leaderboard, earn badges (Neighborhood Champion at 5 credited endorsements, Super Sharer at 20), and push your nominee through the milestones: 10, 25, 50, 100, 250.

Crews, claims, and opt-outs

Crews are the public team behind a nominee — join from their page, separate from endorsing. Claiming: if a page is about you, claim it; once an admin approves your claim, you can add your photo and a short statement. Opting out hides a profile immediately, no questions asked, and a human reviews it after.

Draft To Run is a generic platform for drafting candidates for any office. Kingston Mayor 2027 is simply the first race on it.
